Minecraft and OpenGL

We are very familiar with Minecraft running on OpenGL which makes it compatible with anything able to run java, which is great.

For a PC, Nvidia has very good OpenGL optimizations which is also very nice. But for some AMD graphics cards, OpenGL runs sometimes 2x worse than anything else for some reason.

It has already been discovered that it is a driver limitation and AMD didn’t put enough optimization time into OpenGL, making the game utilize only half of the GPU capacity leading to a wasted potential for some reason.

Is there any solution to this for players with AMD graphic cards? Cause I’m not sure what else to do and I can’t really buy new PC now.
